About Thai Massage for the Table
This 16-hour course teaches a 90-minute Thai massage routine adapted for a massage table. A brief history, philosophy and traditions will be included in the course. Participants will learn proper alignment and good body mechanics as well as how to safely deliver the stretches and postures. Students will be able to practice on each other in a supportive environment.
Performing treatments on a massage table is great for those:
- That cannot be on the floor due to injuries or extremely limited mobility
- Ideal for wellness centers with electronic lift tables
Please bring a pillow, pillow case, and flat sheet.
This class is ideal for those massage therapists, yoga practitioners, energy workers, or those with a background in anatomy. A manual is included in the cost.
This class is approved by the National Certification Board for Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork (NCBTMB) for 16 CE hours. Approved Provider # 451899-12.

Vanessa Hazzard is an author, educator, and massage therapist with 14 years of experience in the massage therapy field. She practices Thai Yoga Massage in Philadelphia, PA.
