Thai Massage, (also known as Nuad Borarn, Thai Yoga Massage, and Thai Bodywork), seamlessly blends massage therapy, compression, stretching, assisted yoga, and other manual therapies.
The Thai Yoga Massage practitioner uses hands, feet, elbows, and knees to apply the therapeutic techniques. The sessions are performed fully clothed on a mat on the floor. In this course, you will learn to apply Thai massage techniques in the supine, prone, side-lying and seated positions. You will learn a routine that will last 90 minutes to 2-hours in length, along with specific variations for height, size, and injuries. This class is ideal for those massage therapists, yoga practitioners, energy workers, or those with a background in anatomy. A manual is included in the cost.
